Happy New Years!

Tomorrow I will be jetting off to Europe for ten days, so I will see everyone in 2007! Be safe, have fun and kiss 2006 goodbye for me!

Crazy?

Is this crazy:

Yes, that is a picture of Jake Gyllenhaal. Yes it is framed. And yes, it is on my desk.

Does this make me like a stalker-ish crazy kinda person or is this just an honest expression of my undying love for him?

Happy Birthday Jake!

I know I said I was done until 2007, but I couldn't let my #1's birthday go by without wishing him all the best. I love you baby!

Happy Blogiversary to Me! And Happy Holidays to you!

A year ago, I started this blog as a way for me to deal with feelings related to the end of a two year relationship with the Ex. Feeling like there were things I could not share with my friends around me or trying not to burden them with my emotions, I chose this medium to be able to say what I was thinking and feeling and hoping there were others out there who could empathize, offer advice or be comforted knowing they were not alone.

Over the course of a year, I have enjoyed writing about things not related at all to my relationship failing but about anything and everything. I have enjoyed expressing thoughts and feelings that I may not share with people who truly know me. I have enjoyed finding other blog "friends" who have commented on this blog and who's own blogs have entertained me over the past year. Kathryn, Cookie, Taylor, RCR, Dale (RIP), Matt Henry (RIP), Kansas CQ and on and on have filled this past year with many laughs. So thank you! And thank you for visiting my blog as well.

I know I have been fairly absent as of late, but I promise as 2006 comes to a close and we roll into 2007, I will try to get back into this on a more regular basis. I have moved, am planning a vacation, been incredibly swamped at work and have needed time to reflect on my own thoughts and feelings without blogging about them. But Carrie will be back, no fear and she has a feeling 2007 is going to be even wilder and crazier than this past year.

I hope everyone has a fabulous and safe holiday season. I will be traveling until mid-January, so have a fantastic New Year and see you next year!
