Jake gay?
Okay so there are rumors that had been circulating that Jake Gyllenhaal was going to come out of the closet but those have been squashed. I'm just letting everyone know that if he ever does, I will quit my job, move to wherever he lives and make him love me.

Because I'm a gay man. And I didn't say made love to...I said make him love me. Though he is free to make love to me as well. Over and over again. And again. And again.

Damn! I knew I should've called him first. OK, fine, but Bradley Cooper and Dave Lieberman are mine. And, yes, it's not fair that I'm calling dibs on two guys at once, but, to quote my father, life isn't fair, so you all can just deal.

Would people really speculate he was gay if he hadn't done Brokeback? Probably not. They would have been all "oh, look these newly single bachelors out for a night on the town."

i think people want him to be gay. it would just be oh so delicious. he's just a big ol' dork, and the reason everyone thinks he's come out is b/c he's being photographed w/ guys. they're his friends, people. guys have guy friends.
he's just an endearing nerd, and that's why I love him.
Of course we WANT him to be gay. Duh. Actually he could be straight if he wanted as long as he was sleeping with me.
And frankly, the assumption he is straight is no more reasonable than an assumption he isn't. He's an actor. Just because he says he's straight doesn't mean he is. As an actor, he is automatically put in a category where there is a reasonably high chance he bats for the other team. Remember drama class in high school? Every single guy I know who's an "actor" from high school is gay. :) Though none admit it on their myspace profile. ha! I don't think anyone is necessarily grabbing at straws in wondering if there is the tiniest possibility he is gay.
That said, I think he's probably straight as an arrow. Why would anyone make out with Kirsten Dunst if you didn't have to. And I can't see him taking on Brokeback Mountain if he's a closeted gay actor. Draws too much attention to the subject.
But don't bust my bubble...please.
